AFL Off-Season program

10 week program. Real numbers. Spots are limited.

We've been running this program for years and have perfected it along the way. The athletes who put the work in over summer are the ones who walk into pre-season ready to go.

What's included

  • Performance testing at the start and end, so your child walks away with real numbers

  • Access to 3 x Strength & Conditioning sessions per week

  • Running programs built around their own testing results

  • Weekly recovery at The Recovery & Wellness Institute (sauna, hot & cold plunge, steam room) or compression boots (*age restrictions apply)

  • Athlete will get a 8-week running program to be done outside the facility based on testing results.

Now open to our female athletes

For the first time, we're running offseason training for our female footballers. Same program, same standards, same results. Female sessions will be a stand alone class if the numbers support this, which may results in different training days.

Zero soft-tissue injuries. One premiership.

The brief. Deliver a full 16-week WAFL pre-season for the West Perth Football Club, with player availability as the primary measure of success.

What we did. Athletic Institute designed and ran the entire strength and power block, individualised conditioning, and testing at both ends of the period, working alongside the club’s medical staff.

The result. Zero soft-issue injuries across the 16-week pre-season. The club took its best players into the season available and in form, and went on to beat Claremont in the WAFL Grand Final.
